IRFS: Proposed International Accounting principles

May 2009

JOVACO Solutions, in collaboration with KPMG, will be presenting a conference on IFRS : How Will the Proposed Accounting Principles Impact My Organization? on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 8 to 10:30am in the René- Lévesque conference room at the Hôtel Le Crystal located at 1100 de la Montagne, Montreal.

In 2011, Canada will be adopting the accounting principles of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) which are already in effect in various countries around the world, in particular the European Union.  Public companies will need to comply to these principles, whereas private companies will still have the option to follow these standards or not.  Regardless of your current situation, management should be informed and aware of these changes for these IFRS principles will have an impact your organizations best practices.

This is why JOVACO is organizing this conference in partnership with Ms. Nathalie Labelle, CA, and Associate at KPMG.  She will be discussing in detail these new principles as well as answering any questions the participants may have.  Mr. Robert Daoust, CA, Vice-President of Consulting Services at JOVACO, will then explain how accounting software solutions like Microsoft Dynamics GP will be aligned to meet the requirements of these new IFRS accounting principles.

The cost of this conference is $50 per person.  If you are interested in attending, please call to reserve a place at (514) 323-3535, extension 122 (or toll free at 1-888-988-3535).
