2020 Release Wave 1 Coming Up in April for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solutions
New features are coming out soon for Microsoft Dynamics 365 business solutions: while some of them have been available for early access since February, general availability is in April. Due to the global health crisis, Microsoft has opted to reduce pressure on customers by pushing back mandatory enablement to May, letting you choose the most convenient time to enable the features update within your organization.
The goal of this new release wave is to continue to empower businesses with the tools they need to increase client satisfaction and facilitate their daily processes. Here’s what we can look forward to with the upcoming wave of releases:
Dynamics 365 Business Central
Improvements focus on service quality and accessibility for overall better performance and reliability. User productivity will be increased thanks to enhancements to the overall client experience and streamlined data entry. Better linguistic support and robust migration tools will also facilitate the transition to Business Central, while features and enhancements requested by users will help empower businesses and drive adoption of the solution by users.
Dynamics 365 Sales
Features and enhancements coming to Dynamics 365 Sales will provide an improved and simplified experience to users. These will facilitate interactions between team members and groups thanks to enhanced workflows, while productivity tools will be leveraged and integrated to increase sales and improve communication, collaboration and analysis. A new set of forecasting capabilities will also allow organizations to create and manage sales forecast processes for more accuracy and a deeper understanding.
Other Dynamics 365 solutions
Of course, other Dynamics 365 products will also benefit from new features and enhancements to performance and scalability. For example, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing will offer a simplified experience and more personalization possibilities, allowing marketers to create content and stay in touch with clients effectively. Improvements to Dynamics 365 Customer Service will increase agent productivity through an expanding range of channels and tools.
The 2020 Release Wave 1 will roll out throughout the month of April and become available automatically through the cloud. As always, Microsoft is committed to providing businesses with the tools they need to constantly improve their performance and refine their processes, and we’re confident that these new features will help you achieve this.
