October 1, 2020

Microsoft Dynamics 365 users can now benefit from new features with the 2020 release wave 2. The various modules of the Dynamics 365 platform have indeed received hundreds of improvements. JOVACO was able to try out an advance release and saw these new features in action. We are looking forward to our clients also benefitting from them to take their business to the next level.

As always, Microsoft strives to improve the usability of its applications and increase the productivity of organizations. Thanks to the cloud, Dynamics 365 now benefits from continuous updates, launched twice a year. Many organizations have had to go through an accelerated transformation over the past few months. These new features will help them drive their digital transformation by leveraging the latest tools and technologies available.

Here are some of the new features now available for CRM modules:

Sales

The user experience is further simplified with a new mobile experience facilitating accessibility. Improvements have also been brought to integrations, gamification, and forecasting. The sales team can also now benefit from new investments in forecasting, business intelligence and product visualization to continuously improve their performance.

Service

The capabilities of the Service module have been expanded for both customer service and field service. Integrations have been strengthened and suggestions for similar cases are now available to increase the productivity of customer service representatives. As for field service, agents can now benefit from features improving proactive service delivery and planning.

Marketing

The customer journey canvas experience has been improved and integrated to Microsoft Teams to facilitate virtual events. Segmentation has also been facilitated, allowing users to create complex segments without specialized skills.

Of course, new features have also been released for the other modules of the Dynamics 365 platform. As such, Finance and Operation, Human Resources and Commerce have all been improved. New features have also been made available to better meet the needs of SMBs and strengthen data security and storage.
