Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.5 available this month

Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.5 will become available this month, bringing new improvements and features. Indeed, the details of some key features were unveiled last week during the Community Summit in Orlando, one of the main events for the Microsoft Dynamics partner community. Here are some of the features we think look most promising!
Filter selected navigation lists
It is now possible to filter selected navigation lists by Batch ID or Batch Source, and add the display to the navigation list. This feature will apply to most lists and transactions.
Improved redisplay feature
This feature applies to the Chequebook Balance Inquiry window during bank reconciliation. It will let you complete all heading information and select “redisplay” to filter chequebook information.
Post an EFT or credit card batch in summary
Dynamics GP can now post an electronic funds transfer or credit card batch in summary during bank reconciliation. Once the option has been configured in Payables Setup, a drop-down menu will display in Payables Batch Entry for EFT and credit card payments.
Automatically post a batch after email approval
When the workflow task has been approved from an email and the process is completed, the system creates a task to automatically post the batch. This feature will apply to general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable batches that have a workflow assigned to them.
Print and send POP and SOP documents at the same time
When selecting Print in Email, you will have two options to choose from. “Print a Copy” will print all selected documents but will only email those that have been configured to be sent by email. “Print remaining” will email documents set up to be sent by email and will print the rest. If neither option is selected, only documents that can be emailed will be sent.
Moreover, Dynamics GP 18.5 now supports Windows 11, SQL Server 2022, and Windows Server 2022. Microsoft confirmed once more its commitment to this new solution, and JOVACO is looking forward to seeing this new version in action!
