New Power Apps features available this fall

The second Microsoft Dynamics 365 release for 2022 is coming up soon, with new features and improvements planned for the fall! We recently shared with you a few of the updates planned for the Dynamics 365 CRM modules, but this time, here are the new Microsoft Power Apps features we’re most looking forward to. These features will help you make the most of the Power Apps platform and your model-driven apps.
Modern advanced find
The modern advanced find offers the same capabilities as the classic advanced find, but with a new look and new features. It namely allows users to hide views and use filters to better visualize data. It’s also possible to save and share views with the rest of team.
Power BI quick reports
It will now be possible to create a Power BI quick report in just one click starting from a view in your Power App. From there, you can modify filters, columns, and the appearance of the report depending on your needs, then save it to the workspace of your choice to access it easily.
Teams chats in your Power Apps
You will be able to start Teams chats with your coworkers without having to leaving your model-driven app. It will also be easy to find chats related to a given record or start a new one with other users working on the same record. Chats will be displayed on a panel and tracked in the timeline and views as activities.
Creating Teams meetings
This new feature will let you add Teams meetings from an appointment directly from your Power App. You will also be able to join a Teams meeting with just one click from the appointment or timeline to access it without having to switch between your various applications.
