New Features Available for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

May 6, 2020

As announced recently, the first wave of the 2020 release for Microsoft Dynamics 365 is now available. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central also benefits from the update, and new features and enhancements are now available for this solution.

Business Central is an end-to-end ERP solution specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses, and now offers an even more intuitive interface, improved administrative tools, and better features thanks to this new release. Let’s look at these improvements in more detail:

Improved usability

Small changes have been brought to the interface to make it even more user-friendly and allow users to work more efficiently. The layout has been optimized and new search and filtering options now allow users to find data more easily. It is also possible to import user profiles and customization packages to adapt the solution more quickly.

Better administrative tools

These enhanced tools allow administrators and partners to better manage the system. The integration to the Common Data Services platform offers better data synchronization and an enhanced integration between Business Central and other Dynamics 365 applications. Other improvements make it possible to manage, adapt and test the solution more easily to optimize its performance.

Enhanced features

As always, Microsoft listens to feedback and suggestions from the user community to continuously improve their products. Other changes have been brought to Business Central to meet the needs identified by users, facilitating data entry and document sending, to name only a few examples.

While this solution is still relatively recent, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers SMBs the tools needed to manage all aspects of their operations. Microsoft is committed to offering organizations business management solutions adapted to their needs, and the newly available features will increase productivity and user-friendliness even more.
