JOVACO’s team gathers for our annual reunion
JOVACO’s employees gathered at the Hotel Bonaventure this past November 26 for JOVACO’s annual reunion. A corporate presentation, team meetings, and a teambuilding activity awaited them. Afterwards, our employee recognition event and a dinner at Place Carmin allowed us to get to know new employees better!
JOVACO’s employees really enjoyed this busy but inspiring day. It was the perfect opportunity for us to reflect on the past year and identify our objectives by quarter and for the next year. The day started with a presentation by President Valerie Coutu and General Manager Jonatan Coutu. “Despite the upheaval caused by the pandemic, we’re very proud to have reached our growth and hiring objectives,” said Mr. Coutu. “JOVACO’s future looks promising and we’re looking forward to what it has in store for us.”
In the afternoon, the team participated to a teambuilding activity under the guidance of MSP Teambuilding. Everyone collaborated to create a beautiful mosaic, and we also got to learn more about our colleagues’ passions and hobbies. The mosaic will be exposed in our office as a memento of this wonderful day.
We also took the opportunity to highlight the arrival of 14 new employees who joined our team within the past year, which will help us meet our growth objectives and the increasing demand. At the same time, we also marked the retirement of our colleague Robert Daoust, one of JOVACO’s very first employees who contributed to JOVACO’s reputation for more than 36 years.
We also highlighted the contributions of employees who have been part of our team for 1, 5 and 10 years, respectively. “One thing that sets us apart from other companies in the IT industry is that our employees stay with us for many years,” said Ms. Coutu. “We’re very proud of our team and to see that they choose to stay with us. I believe they see themselves in JOVACO’s values and that they’re motivated by the challenges and opportunities we offer them.”
To close the night, our employees gathered at the restaurant Place Carmin where they celebrated their and JOVACO’s success over the past year. We’re heading into 2022 with great enthusiasm, and our clients will be the first to benefit from our renewed team spirit and commitments!
