JOVACO celebrates International Women’s Day 2022
Every year, JOVACO highlights International Women’s Day and the important contributions of our female employees. As the theme this year is “Women inspiring women”, it’s also the opportunity for us to celebrate the women who inspire us every day!
“For the past few years, I’ve had the chance to meet inspiring women in the IT industry and other sectors,” says Valerie Coutu, JOVACO Solutions president. “These women inspire me not only through their work, collaboration, and resiliency, but also through their positivity and their vision. Quebec is full of accomplished women who both excel in their roles as mothers and business leaders.”
JOVACO is very proud to feature among the women-led businesses that are currently transforming the province’s economic landscape. Indeed, we were recently featured in the third edition of Premières en affaires’ annual ranking of women-led businesses, highlighting women’s growing role at JOVACO and the business world in general.
As such, we strive to be a human and technological leader, and do everything in our power to support our employees and community. While women are underrepresented in the IT sector, they represent almost half of JOVACO’s employees. They are encouraged to take on whatever role they wish and are present at all levels of our company, including our management team, which has gender parity.
Work-family balance is very important for JOVACO to ensure our employees have the right life balance to flourish as individuals and employees. Our mission is to break barriers and put an end to discrimination of all kinds, and celebrate the various experiences, backgrounds, and identities of our team members.
You’re a woman in the IT sector or wish to kickstart your career in this industry? Have a look at our career opportunities and don’t hesitate to submit your application! We’re looking forward to talking with you!
